Caught "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" last Sun with Rachel at GV Tampines. It was a fantastic show!!!! Soooo thought-invoking... oh you will be awed by the REMARKABLE CGI and makeup!!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Story :

"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This romantic drama tells the tale of Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt), born in 1918 in New Orleans as a baby with wrinkles, cataracts, and arthritis. Benjamin will age backwards, getting younger as he watches those around him growing older. Included in that group are his adoptive mother, Queenie (Taraji P. Henson), and Daisy (Cate Blanchett), the love of his life whom he meets when she is just a little girl and he is an old man. They age in reverse, but despite Benjamin's globe-trotting adventures, their lives repeatedly intersect.

Tribute to Valentine's Day - Part 2

Its Valentine's Day.... goodness...the mere mention of these 2 words makes me nauseous....almost puking out my dinner which I DRANK earlier on (YES I do drink dinner)...

Being single, although not miserable, equates to not enjoying this day or appreciating why in the 1st place this day exists at all.... I do hope the bloody Cupid can shoot an arrow at me soon... Can't really understand why I have been rendered single for more than a year... duhz...

Don't you find it just dumb when you hear people says "love is all I need". HELLO!! You mean you don't need to eat and drink to survive IS IT!! Gosh... how naive these poeple can be....

What's worse is when some people says "I just can't live without you...". Bloody shit!! Your poor parents must be feeling such a failure giving birth to such pathetic offsprings....

I'm not being deillusional... Yes Valentine's Day is great... only to businesses which will be more than happy to milk the DUMB cash cows....

10 Reasons Why Valentine's Day Is So Yucky

1. Stupid couples wearing stupid same-colour or same-themed outfits appearing everywhere

2. Disgusting couples displaying disgusting public affections

3. Oversized bears and yucky bouquets of flowers seem to resurrect after 364 days of hibernation

4. Cheesy love songs compilation albums start to sit on shelves of HMV

5. Dumb couples spending prolly $500 on re-heated set-dinners

6. Cash tills start ringing for businesses which specialize in squeezing moronic couples dry, up till their last drop of blood

7. What's the abbreviation for Valentine's Day? VD!!! and YES it is just as contagious and sickening as the actual STD

8. Lame emails (those with lotsa hearts, kisses, pink-coloured) start to flood mailboxes. Oh not forgetting spams and viruses that pop out like beansprouts during this day

9. Increased chances of getting diabetes as everything seems soooooo sickeningly sweet on this day

10.Stupid questions like "how are you celebrating Valentine's Day" or "what are you buying for your partner" will be asked by stupid couples who think that the whole world must be celebrating this darn day

X-treme's Status Update

X-treme is feeling super duper uber stressed up..... sooo many problems... ALL happening at the same time!!

Dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen @ Ngee Ann City

Went dinner with Victor, Alison, Thomas and Wai Hoe after work on Thursday. Settled at Crystal Jade Kitchen @ Ngee Ann City. Ordered Yu-Sheng and we tossed the Yu-Sheng fervently, uttering as much good luck sayings and well-wishes as possible!! Haha it was indeed fun!






Afternote : the service at Crystal Jade Kitchen, Ngee Ann City ought to be improved!! Service suck!!

Tossing Yu-Sheng @ Centrepoint

Since its still CNY period and it was the last day of class for Issues in Publication and Design, the whole lot of us, together with our lecturer, decided to toss Yu-Sheng for lunch yesterday at Crystal Jade @ Centrepoint.



There were almost 15 of us seated at the long table





Everyone were in a joyous mood :)
