Blood Sucking Leeches

Have you heard about the legendary blood-sucking leeches??? These ancient muti-legged creepy-crawlies actually exist in this modern era of ours!!!! In fact, these creatures are known to reside in offices....Scary and yucky..... Eew~~

Ok peeps.... biology lesson on leeches now.... PAY ATTENTION!!!

Speciman 1

1. old and fossified

2. capable of sucking human blood at an astonishing speed

3. manoeuvre away from work/responsibilities/etc at the speed of light

4. appears vulnerable when cornered

5. secrete venomous substance from foul-mouth, putting humans in bad light

6. highly intelligent, especially when higher-forms are around (known to display characteristics 3, 4 or 5 as and when its required, depending on circumstances)

7. superb survival skills --> feign ignorance or even death ("gay si") when it feels that its life is being threatened



Speciman 2

1. "mate-able" age and mateless

2. manoeuvre at the pace of snails

3. extremely low EQ and known to get on humans' nerves

4. exhibits arrogance when its near higher-forms

5. eyes are located at the forehead and thus tend to "look down" on beings other than itself

6. Brain cells are foreign to Speciman 2

7. displays vampire characteristics ---> usually appears late in offices and crawls back to its habitat late in the evening

8. capable of sucking human blood at an astonishing speed




So peeps... pls be extremely careful if u spot such leeches.... Keep away from them as they are lethal.......

Catching up old times

Met up with Eric, Stephen, Ian, Kennedy, Watson and Anson at Magic Wok, City Hall, to have dinner with Albert.

Albert, a friend whom I have not seen for almost 1 year as he is stationed in UK for work purposes came back for a short holiday. So all of us took this chance to meet up with him to catch up. After dinner, we went to our usual haunt for drinks and chat. Cafe Cartel should seriously consider giving us VIP cards as we frequent the City Hall joint ever so often.

Took the opportunity to take some photos with Albert, before he fly off to UK. However, we took 3 attempts using the same pose.

Shedding...

The process of shedding commenced.... and no.... I'm not talking about tears but my skin!!!!

I'm experiencing the terrible after-effect of over sun-exposure... *pls see entry on "sun-burnt"* Bits and pieces of my skin starts to peel off from various parts of my body... arms, back, legs etc....In fact I'm leaving traces of my DNA everywhere... gosh....

If there is any art exhibition now, I will definately nominate myself... Why??? Because I have the world atlas on my body now!!! The shedding becomes so bad that there are patches on my body which remotely resembles maps...

Gosh.... I feel sooo fugly now..... my life is over~~~~

Re-think Monday Blues

Met up with Alvin after work and we had dinner at Killiney Road. After that we proceeded to "Giraffe" for a drink.

My Baby!!

After much procrastination and consideration, I have decided to get the iPhone 3G. In fact, I got mine today!! Yeah!!

Took half day leave to collect my baby. *Is this good enough to prove my devotion towards my baby?* Spent the rest of the day configuring and playing with my fair baby. *Oh I got the white one*

I heart my baby sooo much, even if it meant that I got to eat bread everyday for the entire month just to have my baby, I still feel it is worth the effort.

DO NOT... I repeat... DO NOT SPEAK ILL OF MY BABY!! I know there are peeps out there who feels that my baby cannot do much, but hey... keep your comments to yourself ok? Of course I would have considered my baby's limitations before I got it right? So back off... you evil people who dislike my baby... Hmph!!

Dun worry my baby iPhone, I promise to take good care of you and "educate" you with more applications as the days go by. :)

Sun-burnt

Decided to get my lazy ass moving and agreed to Stephen's invitation to play beach volleyball at Sentosa yesterday. Boy... it had been years since I last played volleyball. Was pretty excited while on the other hand, my LBD (Lazy Bums Disease) acted on me. Hated the idea of waking up soo early on a Sunday. *okok I get it. I outta be hung*

After much determination and willpower, I finally reached Siloso Beach at around 11am. Stephen and his friends were already playing. Changed into a singlet and a pair of shorts and joined the boys in the game. Wondering why I decided against going topless? Well I reckoned it would not be a good idea to have a congregation of fans swooning over me haha... crap... Okok, I have yet to perfect my figure so for the time being, singlet will do just fine. :p

After just 1 hour, I realised a dramatic change in my skin tone. It had turned reddish brown. Stephen asked if I had applied sun block and I replied smugly that I do not need any sun-protection products. BIG STUPID MISTAKE!!

After another 2 hours, we decided to call it a day. After my shower at home, I realised my skin was reddish in colour and I started to experience pain. Damn... sunburnt...

This was the price to pay for being nonchalant. *Orr Bee Good lor...who ask you dun apply sun-block* Heavy price to pay.... not to mention I have a memento from my game of volleyball ------> a singlet imprinted onto my torso.... Shit... should have gone topless instead....... Arghhhh...
