Some Thoughts...

Flipping through my diary (yes u heard it right, I DO keep diaries), past memories came flowing back to my mind.....

Time flies.... it had been 5 months since ** and I broke off... My life changed.... I can't say if it has changed for the better or worst... I enrolled myself for further studies, I stayed at home during weekends (and yes, u heard it right again), I go home straight after work except on days which I will be gymming, I virtually sever ties from the clubbing scene, I spend ALOT of time at work and I have turned into a couch potato......

Life has changed so mundane for me that I can't believe I actually lead such a lifestyle now... I enjoy the peaceful and tranquil life whereas in the past, I would have opted for a paint-the-town-red kinda lifestyle.... Am I getting old? or am I just jaded?

Reading past entries in my diary brought both smile and tears on my face........ An intense mixture of feelings built up within me.... I missed the happy times ** and I had..... I missed the fireworks during the countdown in Taipei....I missed all the silly things we did together....I missed the promises we made to each other....

Familar chorus kept ringing through my head :

"I can't waste time so give it a moment
I realize, nothing's broken
No need to worry 'bout everything I've done
Live every second like it was my last one
Don't look back got a new direction
I loved you once, needed protection
You're still a part of everything I do
You're on my heart just like a tattoo
Just like a tattoo, I'll always have you"

Relationship is just like a tattoo... when its sweet and smooth-sailing its like a body art and when it turns sour it becomes a scar.....

**, I do not wish to admit this but.... I HATE U!!! AND I MISS YOU!!!!

S is down...

S is feeling down.... Things has not been smooth-sailing for S since the start of Jul... S starts to doubt himself... Is S incompetent? Is S really that lousy?

S has been trying to keep up with deadlines...Trying real hard... Everyone wants things to be done for them fast and everyone wants lotsa things from S... Noone cares if S can cope with the deadlines. Neither does anyone cares if S can manage......

Since the start of Jul, S has been churning out reports.... Reports and more reports....S is tired...exhausted...and S has not been sleeping well....Perhaps its the weather, S is feeling sick... Can it be flu.. or just fatigue?

S had previously requested for namecards as the nature of his job requires him to meet vendors/external parties.... Much to his dismay, S was told that justifications have to be made in order for S to have his namecards....Why? Simple reason.... S is a junior officer in his company and junior officers are NOT entitled to namecards!! How bizzard.....Senior officers in his company will, by default, be issued with namecards just because they are senior officers, regardless whether they have any need to use them or not!! Shouldn't namecards be issued to officers who need them instead of issuing them based on seniority? Logical right? S shared his views with his boss and was given the impression that S is sooo hard up for namecards... Sad... noone seems to understand S....

S discovers by chance that his company has blocked access to Facebook. He feels that this move is rather silly as MCYS has recently launched a REACH profile in Facebook and they have invited PM to grace the launch....yet S's company blocked access to the website... S mindlessly voiced his views on the move and was chided by his boss for being "unreasonable".... Unreasonable!!! After 3 years in the department with his boss, that was the 1st time S's boss used such a harsh word on him.... S was unhappy...very unhappy...as S was just ranting and his boss took whatever he said sooo seriously..........

S feels that noone... practically noone in his company understands him and what he is experiencing.....

S is tired.......S is sick.... S is unwell..... S wants to be strong again... soon....real soon..........

4 Boyfriends....

Hi peeps, share with you a meaningful story. Enjoy :)

Once upon a time there was this girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the 4th boyfriend the most and adored him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the 3rd boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighbouring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her 2nd boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girl's 1st boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend. Although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him!

One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.'
Thus, she asked the 4th boyfriend, 'I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?'
'No way!', replied the 4th boyfriend, and he walked away without another word.. His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.

The sad girl then asked the 3rd boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No!', replied the 3rd boyfriend d. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else! Her heart sank and turned cold.

She then asked the 2nd boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the 2nd boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go..' The girl looked up, and there was his first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'

In truth, you have 4 boyfriends in your lives:

Your 4th boyfriend is your body . No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die.
Your 3rd boyfriend is your possessions, status and wealth. When you die, it will all go to others.
Your 2nd boyfriend is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave.

And your 1st boyfriend is your Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, your Soul is the only thing that will follow you where ever you go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of you that will follow you and continue with you throughout Eternity.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

PGR 08

Attended the Presidential Garden Reception 08 (PGR08) at the Istana last Sunday.

President S R Nathan hosted the garden reception for personnel from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). This annual reception was held in recognition of the contributions and dedication made by MINDEF/SAF personnel to the defence of Singapore. Among those that were invited to the reception were top MINDEF/SAF officials, DSTA personnel, active servicemen who have performed well in their training or made significant contributions, and NSmen with outstanding performance during their in-camp training. Erm... does that explains why I was invited? (Hiak Hiak Hiak :p)

The PGR 08 was an eye-opener for me. Sooooo many "crabs" and big shots around. (Those peeps who are familar with SAF will know what I meant) Food was ok but the weather sucks... It was sooo hot and I really pitied the SAF Band as they were performing under the glaring sun without any shelter over their heads. Not forgetting that they had to wear the thick uniforms....

Oh talking about uniforms, I really heart my No.5T!! Sooo cool and I think I looked good in it wahhahaha. Airforce No.5T rocks!!!

Zumba...

Went California Fitness with Clara at Novena Square after my work. Attended the "Zumba Fitness" class as Clara wanted to try something new.

Just a brief background of "Zumba Fitness" : Zumba fuses Latino music and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be fun and easy to do

Well, it was a "nightmare" for me haha. Throughout the entire class, both me and Clara did not know what we were doing. Our moves were soooo damn funny and clumsy. The instructor was sooo engrossed in her own world that she did not even bother if her students could catch up with her or not. Half the time we were like "dancing" our own ways and seriously, I had problems with my hands and legs coordinations. Especially so when I was required to shake my bums hahaha....

The plus point of the class was that the Latin music was good. I am beginning to like the Latin culture. *act high class sia*

Anyway, Clara and I had a good laugh after our class. Think we will try out new classes next week, e.g. dance etc.

Ugly Commuter

It was a cold, gloomy morning. Ominous dark clouds overcasted the sky. Took a bus to MRT to work in "sleep mode".

I was standing on the left side of the yellow lines of demarcation (those drawn on the floor of the MRT platform to facilitate the flow of commuters in and out of the train). Standing beside me was a fat and ugly (both in appearance and action) woman. I could smell an overpowering stench from her hair. Really reminds me of the smell of a clogged drain/sewer. (Peeps, pls note that all this while she is standing in the middle of the lines which were meant for commuters to come out of the train)

As I was sleepy and in a can't-be-bothered mood, I decided to mind my own business and not tell her not to stand in the middle. When the train came, commuters were trying to come out with much difficulty as the fat, fugly woman was standing in their way. I thought I could make my way into the train with ease as I was standing by the side. The pigsy then tried to squeeze into the train, pushing me to the side. I retaliated, pushing her back. You may feel I am ungentlemanly but think again, the yellow lines are there for a reason and yet the fugly pigsy stood there as if she owned the MRT. Hey, what's worse was that she pushed me!! Imagine getting pushed by 100 tonnes of lard!! No joke ok....

Got myself a seat and settled down comfortably. That stinking sow was sitting opposite me, giving me a cold stare. I returned her stare and we were like staring at each other for a good 5mins!! Of course I won in the end as you know pigs can't beat humans. Pigsy sulked at her seat while I took a short nap.

On my way to office, i was thinking... There are indeed shameless people who can still act as if they are right even though they are in the wrong. All I wana say is " Hey Pigsy, please don't think that being clad in heels and dress makes you any human. If you wana be human, act and behave like one!!"
